Youth Group

A group of young people, aged from 12 years to about 15 years, who meet together for worship, study, discussion and fellowship. The group also participates in community service fund raising events.

It meets weekly on the first, second, third and fifth Sundays at 9:30 am and on the fourth Sunday, with the Minister at 6 pm for study, a meal and social activities.

Uniting Church Adult Fellowship The UCAF consists of members of the congregation who meet for fellowship, and invite guest speakers to present on matters of interest to its members. It plays a vital role in fundraising activities for the church. 

The group meets monthly on the first Wednesday at at 7:30 pm during the summer months (Sept - April) and 1:30 pm during winter months (May - August).

Women's Activity Group The WAGS is a caring social group for women. Members enjoy a wide variety of activities.

The group meets every second Thursday at 10 am.

Men's Breakfast

 

A fellowship of men who meet for breakfast and to listen to a speaker.

The group meets on the last Saturday of the month at 8:30 am.

Social Action Group A group of church members who are concerned about social justice issues.

The group meets every second month on the third Tuesday. The first meeting for 2010 is Tuesday 16 February at 7:45pm.

Playgroups   Through these playgroups St Ninian's links to the community and provides an opportunity for young parents and their children to get together. The playgroups are affiliated with the Playgroup Association.

The groups meet weekly on Mondays at 9:30am & 12:30pm & Fridays at 9:30am

Friendship Group The Friendship group provides fellowship, entertainment and afternoon tea for the elderly within the community. Transport is provided.

The group meets fortnightly on Tuesday at 2 pm.

  • Worship at the 6:00 pm service is enhanced by a variety of musical instruments
